Obituary notices on the website are displayed for any RETIRED OFFICER with West Yorkshire origins including those areas now in other forces which were West Riding or any of the cities and boroughs therein.
Obituaries for NARPO members
Must be communicated to the secretary of the branch to which the member belonged
This is because information can only be checked by branch secretaries for their own branch.
Where a members funeral details are received by a branch secretary in advance,
these will be passed to the website manager who will endeavour to broadcast the details to all website registered e-mail addresses before the funeral takes place.

In the West Yorkshire Police “The Beat” newspaper which are assumed to have been officially checked.
There will be a delay in these being displayed because “The Beat” is only published monthly.
