Dear Members ,
Here are details of forthcoming events. I have a lot to get in this newsletter so I will
necessarily have to be brief. If you want gossip and humour (?) -I can do no better than refer you to
Tony Hennigan’s newsgroup at tony.hennigan@bbc.co.uk
Incidentally the West Yorks NARPO website www.narpowestyorkshire.co.uk is undergoing a review of security
and you may need to be a full member to access all areas in the near future.
Branch Meeting
Tues 12 th October 2010 7.30pm onwards -Steeton Hall
At this meeting it is hoped that we can keep formalities to a minimum .
There will be reports from the Chairman and the Secretary from the Conference
and discussion of items of interest to all. If you have any items for the agenda
please let me know. The traditional raffle will follow for which we need lots of
prizes please. There will be a buffet provided at a nominal charge.

Saturday 16th October 2010 - Lake District.
Itinerary The coach will depart from Hard Ings Avenue near Keighley Police Station
at 08.30am .(parking available behind bowling alley nearby and at Steeton Hall if reqd)
(There could be pick ups en route at Steeton / /Skipton /Settle subject to demand).
We will travel direct to the new Lakeland Motor Museum at Newby Bridge
where there is an excellent riverside café for the ladies whilst the gentlemen
who wish to visit the museum can do so (entrance charge). We will then travel
the short distance to Lakeside where will embark on a steamer
( more refreshments available! ) for the 40minute cruise to Bowness.
You will have ample time in Bowness to visit the shops etc
and partake of more refreshments before rejoining the coach in the Coach Park near the
steamer terminal for departure at approx 5.0pm.
The coach will be a fully equipped 48seater and the fare will be £15 - to include the boat trip !

Annual / Xmas Dinner to be held at:
Steeton Hall - 12.30pm for 1.0pm Sunday 21st November 2010.
Please refer to proforma for menu and choices . The dinner is being offered to us
at an amazing £13.50 per head - no subsidy required.!
We will have exclusive use of the function room with raffle etc to follow
