The Leeds and District Funeral Drape
Displayed here on the Thorley memorial bench at the Police Treatment Centre at Harrogate.
Sid. and Flo. Thorley were both previous secretaries of Leeds and District Branch of NARPO.
This was seen as a fitting memorial to two dearly loved and highly respected people.
The Funeral Drape was purchased as a coffin drape for use at the funerals of NARPO members.
It is available free of charge on request from the secretary of Leeds and District Branch, who will arrange delivery to the funeral director.
It may be borrowed by other branches on request provided that the borrower ensures that it is collected and delivered back to the Leeds and District secretary at their own expense.
